Our Country Kitchen restaurant is open 7 days a week from 7am until 2pm. Have Breakfast for lunch or lunch for breakfast during our hours of operation. Our breakfast and lunch menu offers a variety of choices such as our daily homemade soups, biscuit and gravy, country fried steak, scrapple, hash, country ham, fried chicken livers, fresh salads, and set daily lunch specials, such as spaghetti and meatballs on wed and chicken and dumpling on Thurs. You can also try one of Helen’s specials that have made it to the menu permanently. Most hot lunches come with mashed potato and gravy and sides such as collards, corn, beets, cucumber salad, green beans, spinach and applesauce.
No meal is complete until you have tried one of Helen’s home made desserts, you gotta get them quick as they’re always going fast, except for that banana pudding, Helen’s always making a fresh batch.
